I was born and raised in Iran. In 2015 I moved to Budapest, where I discovered my interest in psychology through my own therapy. That lead me to complete my undergrad and graduate studies in psychology at Eötvös Loránd University.

Background

Since 2016 when I started my studies, my learning process has been a combination of academic and personal learning. I have attended trainings on Intensive Short-Term Psychotherapy (ISTDP) with audio-visual training and supervision. Alongside that, having been in psychotherapy myself has been an important learning experience. For me, sometimes this process goes beyond symptom relief. It becomes, an on-going, honest confrontation with the conditions that we are all living within.

Clinical Work

What I find interesting is that sometimes we forget that mental health practitioners are also human. Which means I too experience unpleasant emotions like you. At times I feel sadness and may want to do things that cheer me up. I enjoy hiking, dancing and reading – especially about the history of science.
